‘I first visited Mary Sarah over 4 years ago. I was recommended via Barry Vardy from a Pilates class that I was attending. I have had a bad back due to various work related ilks for over 6 years. I believe my main issues are posture and stress related back pain. I had tried everything from Chiropractic care, Osteopathy, Accupuncture and other massage/Physiotherapists but nothing would really work for long. I strongly believe that Pilates along with Mary Sarah’s help I finally managed to get some major relief from my pains. I attended sessions with Mary Sarah weekly to start out with as my pain back then was excruciating. Mary Sarah uses various techniques to get the most out of my treatment, these are based around light body manipulations/adjustments and massage therapy. I am now only needing to attend every 8-10 weeks for maintenance massages to keep me on track with my back pains.

Mary Sarah listens very attentively at the beginning of each session to see if I have any new aches or pains or if anything has changed. I have tended to let Mary Sarah dig out where my issues are and she very quickly can assess which muscles are sore or overworked. Mary Sarah also offers exercises when she feels that I would benefit further from doing certain stretches/exercises. This really helps as I can really get to work on these stretches in between treatments and this has further aided my recovery.

After trying everything over a 4 year period I can’t thank Mary Sarah enough for her help in getting me back into shape and the relief I feel is extraordinary, I can highly recommend Mary Sarah’s treatments and Thanks again.

When I first saw Mary my eczema was particularly bad, I felt generally unwell and very tired and quite down about the way I was feeling.  I was getting married in the summer and felt very conscious that on my wedding day my hands would look awful from the eczema when I wanted to show off my ring!  Also as a Healthcare Professional I feel my eczema is embarrassing when dealing with patients who may not understand my condition.

I have had eczema & asthma throughout the whole of my life and felt I had come as far as I could with conventional medicine.  After reading about the benefits of lymphatic drainage treatment for common illnesses I decided to give Mary a try.  After all what did I have to lose?

Mary has been very thorough and supportive throughout and has tried to look at the whole of me rather than just the eczema on my hands.  The first session of treatment was relaxing, but felt a little strange.  I like Mary’s gentle & kind approach, where she has introduced simple techniques to help me away from the clinic.  My eczema was vastly improved as a result of this treatment.

Looking to the future, I will probably need and want to go and see Mary for treatment on a regular basis for as long as it is giving me benefit.  I would recommend her to others who have experienced similar problems to myself.

I have had primary lymphoedema in my left foot and ankle since the age of 14. Together with my compression socks, I have found lymphatic drainage therapy really beneficial in managing this chronic condition.
I have been visiting Mary Sarah since 2009 on a monthly basis, and am always so glad to see the appointment in the diary! It is such a relaxing treatment and I know her expert care has prevented my condition from worsening. Infact, there are days when my foot looks better than it ever has before, which is excellent as I’ve lived with the condition for 34 years now.
In addition, there are times when it has worsened, such as after holidays where the heat has been extreme. Mary Sarah always has suggestions of things I can do at home to get my foot back to optimal health.
I feel really lucky to have found such a professional practitioner, who really cares for you as a whole person.

‘Mary took the time to listen to my ‘story’ about my back problems and this meant that when she started treating me I felt confident she understood my issues. Mary works holistically and is empathetic about living with back pain and the associated anxieties that can go with this. Her remedial massage treatments, combined with her compassionate approach, have allowed me to experience genuine pain relief.’

Over a number of years I have visited Mary for Massages, First for pure Luxury
….She always seems to find the right one for the occasion!
Secondly for various problems that have arrived over the years. After a fall,
Shoulder ,back hip etc. I find relaxing the muscles and improving the circulation repairs the damage and prevents more serious conditions.
She listens carefully, has a professional approach and I thank her for helping me to be a fit retired and very happy customer.

“Mary was highly recommended to me by a friend for treatment of a number of issues, not least chronic “golfers elbow” that had been resistant to acupuncture, physiotherapy, steroid injections and prp injections. Her professional, thorough, holistic approach was immediately evident. She used her extensive knowledge thoughtfully so we agreed a clear achievable plan, setting realistic expectations whilst being mindful of my goals and aspirations. She is incredibly respectful during treatments and always checks on its  effects and any results. She has encouraged me to look at my injury and recovery in a different way. This has changed what I do in my day to day life to support my bodies healing alongside her Remedial and orthopaedic  massage treatment. I am now largely pain free and increasing my activities steadily.”

Mary took the time to listen to my personal injury story and then expertly put this in context to how this may have occurred. This understanding enabled me to gain my confidence in my badminton.

Following Mary’s consultation I realised that my shoulder injury was not as serious as I thought and the symptoms of pain soon relented following a series of treatments. Mary was able to isolate the cause within minutes and then explain a plan to resolve the condition.

I recommend Mary Eldridge to others who are looking for specialists in remedial massage.”

Mary Sarah is an exceptional practitioner. Having seen her over the course of the last six years for therapeutic massage for on-going stress management alongside several sessions of treatment for more acute and isolated issues or back pain or injury I can wholeheartedly recommend her. She is sympathetic, client-led and adaptive to individual needs. Professional, caring and effective, her treatments are wonderful.

“I have known Mary Sarah for nearly four years and have been a regular client throughout, including during my two pregnancies.
Mary Sarah puts you at ease from the moment you walk through the door. She is very warm and makes sure the massage is tailored to your needs.
I have tried different types of massage with her.
Pregnancy massage: I have had problems with my sacrus due to a fall and she has worked at a muscular level helping to relieve the tension in my lower back. She is very aware of many aspects of pregnancy which is reassuring, and makes her massages safe and relaxing.
I have also tried remedial massage when I had problems with my wrists during my second pregnancy and also with my ankle when I injured it running.
Whenever I have had a massage I have always felt my needs were met and looked forward to the next appointment.”
